High Performance Computing @ King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals

The High Performance Computing (HPC) Center at KFUPM, or HPC @ KFUPM is a newly created initiative of Information Technology Center (ITC). The center will promote scientific computing and technology across all disciplines, enabling education, research and discovery through the use of emerging, advanced technologies. HPC @ KFUPM will provide the infrastructure and support necessary to facilitate heroic research efforts, utilizing cutting-edge technology to push the limits of scientific discovery.

Through HPC @ KFUPM, university faculty, staff and students can access KFUPM’s newly acquired cluster.

Serving as a central point to access all HPC resources and user expertise at KFUPM, HPC @ KFUPM provides services to researchers on campus.

The HPC @ KFUPM is presently managed by a team of ITC staff members. The HPC @ KFUPM manages the compute cluster and can help users to create accounts to support research efforts at the university.
